It’s that time of the season where we heap players upon those who haven’t done as well this season, to soothe our conscience for probably beating them twice.
We give one player, free to charge, to each team in the league except for the team that won Division One, because they fundamentally don’t need to improve their team.
As always; the team who finished at the bottom of Division Two gets the first pick, followed by the team who finished second bottom of Division Two, then third bottom… all the way up to the team who finished second top of Division One.

I decided that the two managerless teams don’t get a pick, it’s just easier that way. If a new manager comes in and takes over a team I’ll give them an additional player comparable to the one they would have likely got in the auction.
So this means we have 15 teams getting a player in the draft.
Please can everyone send me (Mike, hi) your preferred order of draft picks. So put 1-15 against each player, with 1 being your first choice and 15 being your last choice.
I’ll then give…
- the first team their first choice
- the second team their first choice and if that’s gone then their second choice
- the third team their first choice and if that’s gone their second choice and if that’s gone their third choice…

The first two picks are randomly assigned.
In truth, the team that has the first pick only needs to email me the name of two players (first and second choice) because they’re definitely getting one of them, same with the second pick. The third pick only needs to send me their choices for 1-3, fourth pick for 1-4… but if in doubt then put a number against all 15 of them.
