The season six live auction has run – it’s fair to say that for the vast majority of deals there was value.

As I mentioned last week, I figured it was unfair to exclude those who are unable to attend so I’ve added an additional blind auction in for next week. The focus is still on the live auction and the benefits for attending that are clear (an 18 year old, 20 rated keeper for £1m!!).
By my reckoning there are four teams eligible for next week:

There’s four teams bidding for two players so they’re almost certainly going to go for more money than last night, and there’s less chance of getting someone. The focus is very much on the live auction, but there’s still a chance for those who couldn’t make it.
For season seven…
On the assumption that we have 20 teams we’ll have the following auctions in this order:
- Live auction: 5 players, at the start of the season so everyone can bid
- Blind auction: 5 players, towards the middle of the season, 15 eligible teams left
- Blind auction: 5 players, near the end of the season, 10 eligible teams left
If you are unable to attend the live auction you still have two chances to pick up a player in the blind auctions.
