A legend of the game departs: Haydn will be stepping down as manager of Season 3 champions Opulent Knack. He leaves with our best wishes as he is emigrating to join a travelling European ukulele folk band and given he can’t guarantee he’d always have access to wifi he didn’t want to let his team down.
This means we have a managerial vacancy in Division 1! Or maybe Division 2 if Haydn’s final game as manager goes belly up!
If you want to become the next manager of Opulent Knack then send me an email – it’s first come first served. You’ll also be able to rename the team, as any manager who takes over a team not currently named after a place gets the chance to rename it.
We also wave goodbye to Stuart at Sarsfield Spartans, who has left by mutual consent after a frank and honest exchange of views with the Chairman. The Board was less than happy by his lack of application, namely not turning up to the vast majority of his games. Or responding to any forms of communication.
Again, if you wish a new challenge you can take over Sarsfield Spartans – please email me. It will be an entirely different challenge; can you take the team who finished very bottom of the game and take them to the very top?
